A Wave Worthy
of Its Name
Located off the uninhabited island of Todos Santos near Ensenada, Baja California, Killers is an oceanic monster that serves up some of the biggest waves along the entire West Coast.
First discovered in the early 1960s by the Windandsea crew, it sits along a massive underwater canyon that turns long-period groundswell (285º NW is the magic number) into a death-defying drop and barrel section.
The invitational live event window is from January 1 – February 29, 2024
The live event is invitation only.
For the invitational live event, there will be a panel of three judges.
The waves will be judged on size, takeoff, and completion.
There will be a judging panel chaired by Gary Linden.
